A Brand for Pet Lovers: Logo and Brand Development for Able Sable

Written by in ApparelDesignIllustrationLogo Design

At 63 Visual Design Company, we take pride in helping brands find their unique voice and visual identity.

Introducing our recent collaboration with Able Sable. Specializing in apparel made from materials that repel pet fur, Able Sable is redefining how pet owners can enjoy stylish clothing without the constant battle against hair and lint.

Let’s explore the exciting process of developing a logo and brand identity that encapsulates Able Sable’s mission while appealing to their target audience.

Defining the Brand: The Essence of Able Sable

Able Sable is more than a clothing line; it’s a solution for pet lovers who want to look their best without the hassle of pet fur. Understanding this core purpose was essential in shaping their brand identity. The goal was to create a visual representation that reflected both elegance and functionality, appealing to pet owners who value style and practicality.

The Logo System: Sable Symbol and Custom Typography

Sable Mascot

At the heart of the logo system is a charming sable mascot, designed to embody the playful spirit of pets while maintaining a sleek, sophisticated appearance. This character acts as the friendly face of the brand, resonating with pet lovers of all ages. The simplicity of the mascot ensures versatility, making it suitable for various applications – from clothing tags to promotional materials.

Custom Typography

To complement the mascot, we developed a custom typography that is both modern and elegant. The clean lines and refined forms of the typeface evoke a sense of sophistication, aligning perfectly with Able Sable’s mission to offer stylish, practical clothing. The typography is designed to be easily readable, ensuring clarity across all branding materials while enhancing the overall aesthetic.

Supporting Graphics

Alongside the mascot and typography, we created a set of supporting novelty graphics. These playful elements are designed to enhance apparel products and marketing materials, adding a touch of fun while remaining cohesive with the brand’s identity. The graphics include seals and typographic motifs contributing to the brand’s narrative without overwhelming the design.

A Timeless Color Palette: Black and White Elegance

The Able Sable brand identity features a simple black and white color palette. This choice was aimed at creating a clean and elegant look that complements the various materials used in the product line. By opting for a neutral palette, we ensured that the brand identity would seamlessly blend with any apparel design, enhancing rather than clashing with the clothing. This sophisticated approach not only elevates the brand’s aesthetic but also reinforces its commitment to quality and style, making a strong statement in a market filled with vibrant colors and busy patterns.

A New Era for Pet Lovers

With an elegant logo system featuring a fun sable mascot, custom typography, and a sophisticated black-and-white color palette, Able Sable is ready to make its mark on the industry. As they launch their product line, we look forward to seeing how this brand resonates with pet lovers everywhere, proving that style and practicality can go hand in paw.
