Being a lifelong resident of the Jacksonville Beaches community, it is always a pleasure to have the opportunity to work on projects for The City of Jacksonville. Event related materials are often the most exciting to work on because it is a chance to break from commercially heavy approaches and have fun with design and illustration.
Blessing of the Fleet Event Branding
The event branding produced for the Blessing of the Fleet event emphasized simplified and iconic nautical illustrations. Representing all types of vessels including a motorboat, yacht, sailboat, cruise ship and row boats, this approach was inviting to captains of all kinds. The blues and whites represent the beauty of Downtown riverfront while the red and wood grain give it character, contrast and a rustic natural approach.

Veterans Day Parade Logos
Version 1 – Valor
This bold and colorful approach is intended to represent the courage and honor of our soldiers. By incorporating a shield, eagle, stars and stripes, it possesses a military feel, while retaining the fun and festivity of the parade. In addition to the red, white and blue, we added a yellow for brightness and contrast as well as a textured surface as a representation of the tried, true and durable qualities of our troops.

Version 2 – Americana
This version embodies the feel of a parade on a sunny day. Representing a banner or flag flowing in the wind, classic typography and tasteful american coloring are intend to make any viewer proud to be an American and capture the joy, excitement and family fun of the Veterans Day Parade. The classic retro feel is reminiscent traditional American quality and solidarity.
